Rocky will describe the prospect profile for each with examples.  He will be highlighting gift annuities, and address when a gift is not a gift!

About our presenter:  Mr. Menge is a Senior Vice President and Certified Portfolio Manager with Wells Fargo Advisors. He is located in Columbia, SC with clients throughout the state and the region.

 

Beginning his career in 1979, Mr. Menge specializes in discretionary portfolio management for high net worth individuals and institutions. In addition, he works with a number of non-profit organizations in the Southeast as portfolio manager or portfolio consultant for their endowments or planned giving portfolios.

 

He is widely regarded for his expertise in charitable estate planning and the use of a variety of charitable giving techniques and their integration in an overall estate plan.

 

He is a frequent speaker both regionally and nationally on the subject of planned giving. Mr. Menge also works directly with a number of non-profit organizations to assist them with their planned giving programs.

 

Mr. Menge is a founding Board member of the South Carolina Planned Giving Council. He has also served on the Membership Committee of the National Committee on Planned Giving and on the Board of Directors of the Kanuga Conference Center in Hendersonville, NC. He has previously served as a planned giving member of the National Office of Volunteers for the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation.

 

He currently is or has been the advisor on planned giving to a number of non profit organizations including Kanuga Conference Center, Hendersonville, NC; Coker College, Hartsville, SC; Heathwood Hall Episcopal School, Columbia, SC; St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Augusta, Ga.; Bishop Gadsden Retirement Community, Charleston SC; Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Columbia, SC; Christ Episcopal Church, Greenville, SC; Trinity Episcopal Church, Myrtle Beach, SC and Christ School, Arden, NC and Deerfield, An Episcopal Retirement Community in Asheville, NC.
