Wendy Broderick, Chief Development and Marketing Officer, YMCA of Columbia
As Chief Development and Marketing Officer of the YMCA of Columbia, Wendy Broderick, plays an instrumental role in the growth and strategic
development of the Y. Broderick is a well-connected and highly respected development and marketing professional. She designed and executed the YMCA of Columbia’s first comprehensive fundraising plan in 2009 to develop sustainable support for the Y. The Y's Annual Campaign has grown 11-fold under her leadership. Broderick is a Certified Fundraising Executive. She holds Indiana University’s Certificate in Fundraising Management, University of South Carolina’s Grant Writing Certificate, and Cornell University’s Digital Marketing Certificate. Broderick was recently named 2018 Outstanding Fundraising Executive by Association of Fundraising Professionals Central Carolina Chapter.
Prior to her role in development, Broderick led the YMCA of Columbia through the start-up of the Jeep Rogers Family YMCA in Northeast Columbia and served as Executive Director of that branch. She is Past President of the Blythewood Rotary Club and the Greater Blythewood Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as Rotary District 7770 Literacy Chair and on AFP Central Carolina Chapter Board of Directors.
Broderick resides in Blythewood, SC with her husband Cameron and their four children.
Jennifer McCormack, Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations and USC
Jennifer McCormack, CFRE, is Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the University of South Carolina. Jennifer has 10 years of experience in several areas of development, with her specialty practice focused on major gift fundraising for STEM, education and health initiatives. Prior to joining UofSC, Jennifer served as Director of Development for the South Carolina Governor’s School for Science & Mathematics. She began her career in development at the American Heart Association.
